The Orbi RBR40 router can be configured to act as a DHCP server. Having this type of server allows you to assign one IP address to a group of computers. By using the DMZ feature, you can set up the Orbi to act as a DHCP server to multiple computers.
To configure the DMZ on an Orbi RBR40 router, you first need to enter the IP address of your router and the user name and password you used to login to the router. Click Log in. If you do not remember your username and password, you can use the default one.
Resetting the router
If you’re having problems connecting to your network, it may be time to reset your Orbi DHCP server. This process will enable you to reconnect to the internet without any interruption. First, make sure your Orbi router is powered off. Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
This method will completely remove all personal settings, and will require you to make all settings from scratch. You can do this by accessing the web interface and clicking on “Administration.” From there, you will see an option to “Factory reset.” After selecting this option, follow the instructions on the screen.
After making these changes, you can enable the DHCP server on your Orbi router. Next, go to the Network page and click on the DHCP settings tab. In the DHCP settings page, you can enter the DHCP server address, subnet mask, and lease time. Then, save the changes, and then try to connect to your network again.
